Exactly what do you experience at Fremont Street?

After seeing Ka last Friday we decided to take Keri see the Fremont Street Experience for the first time. For those that haven't been there, the point is a laser show on the ceiling, I guess? or top of a tunnel spanning the whole street block lasting a few minutes and playing every 10 or 15 minutesish. Along the way there are vendors and of course casinos to shop around in. It's definitely a gathering place for freaky people, a people-watcher's paradise. We felt really white and really Mormon down there.

Steve, Blake and I started talking about how we should stand next to the porn dealers on the Strip and hand out Book of Mormons or pass-along cards in the same manner as they do, with the little click of the card to get your attention. Immediately following this conversation we saw this guy holding this sign and decided he had things under control.

Oh, man - I've got a funny story about Gremont Street. It's better in person so maybe you'll just have to wait until I see you next.

That brings back memories! I don't ever remember seeing so many mullets in one place! Prize people down there, hu? And have you ever wondered how much more 'splendid' the light show might be with a few booze in your system??? It might be a whole different experience! Just a thought. Kelli

Anna, I've never been to Gremont Street. It must be a block east of Fremont but west of Hremont? Do tell.

Yes, Kelli, the booze may be the real draw. I'll never know.
