Getting Used to Growing Up

Dutch Baby finally got her glasses today which happened to be Day #3 of potty-training. So now we're glasses-training simultaneously. AND she's trying out her new big-girl bike. This makes for a very high-maintenance little girl requiring an extra vigilant mom.
So much for household chores.

But I can't complain. The weather is fantastic.
(Thanks, Alivia, for letting us use your old frames!)
(Thanks, Henry, for the new bike!)

Is she barefoot and in a skirt? Maybe Phoenix wouldn't be so bad after all.

Henry cried for 20 minutes straight today because I wouldn't call Holland for him. She looks so cute with the glasses. Thomas made a Mii of Holland today and he put glasses on her!

When I first saw the picture, I thought it was Alivia! Wow. She looks so dang cute in those glasses. Good luck with keeping them on!

This comment may be posted twice: Looks like she inherited the Shirley eyes. It will be interesting to see if she also puts her glasses on her head while she reads books really close to her face.

She reminds me of Ralphie from "The Christmas Story." Hope she doesn't 'shoot her eye out'.

Oh my stars, I can't believe that is baby Holland. She is too little to be riding a real bike!
