in the desert

I "borrowed" this from a local website. The first picture was taken in front of my 6th grader's school. When I went to bed last night there was a tornado warning, a flash flood warning, and a thunderstorm warning in effect. Sometimes a little TV before bed is a bad idea.

I was watching on the weather channel the other day of 'extreme weather' cases. They totally showed the little rain shower we had while I was at your house in Vegas. It was fun to reminisce!

That's fun! I sent a link to your blog to my parents so they could see the clip!

No damage luckily- there are retention basins everywhere to deal with our monsoons we get in the summers. This way outperformed any monsoon I've seen since I've lived here.

Other parts of Phoenix had flooding but we were spared that calamity.

I don't see what the big deal is. You don't have basements that can flood. I think you're blowing this all out of proportion. Arizonians are wusses.
