...adorable? I admit, it's a celebration of mediocrity.
But I've always loved a good celebration.
I mean, how can you not love 100+ kids as cute as these singing lyrics cute as these:
Start spreadin' the news
We're leavin' today
We want to be a part of it
First Grade First Grade...
If we can make it here
We'll make it anywhere
So here's TO YOU
First Grade First GRADE!
da-da-dadada
da-da-dadada...
Too too sweet! But- despite the too sweet, I must say I remain totally bugged by the whole notion of a kindergarten graduation ceremony. As a matter of principle.
(I think.)

Cute kiddos. It was a sweet performance!
Rafe is so cute.
It's a tough job market out there, even for Kindergarten grads.
I hear ya on the kindergarten graduation. "Celebration of mediocrity" is a good description. I think it's worthy of a party when your kid is that cute though ;)
Okay so just another thought...this is the mind-set we often have that limits our kids from receiving the quiet satisfaction of private service and good deeds. I'm not saying kindergarten graduation does this, but as a parent I feel pressure to celebrate, set aside, highlight, embellish, hoo-ray, little accomplishments. Why can't hugs and kisses and a cookie with milk be enough?
Okay, rant over. Cute kid.
#1 I love the paper hats, staples and all LOVE IT!
#2 I love the way you blurred out ALL the other kids..LOVE IT!!
#3 I Love that you mock it and love it..CUZ i do too:)
I feel the same way about 8th grade promotion. High School and college are the only things you should have graduations for- maybe Seminary, but I don't even think that is needed.
Rafe's face...ah! A classic. Also love the blur our effect...teach me!
Ditto to what Barb said. Rafe is adorable!
