Copa Got: Yogurt Buffet Extravaganza

Yogurt Jungle just opened in Maricopa. We are enjoying it immensely. For special occasions. Like family home evening treats, or after a soccer win, or when we drive past...

I've already got my favorite.

Blake and I have never been menu-compatible. We're not a couple that can split a meal. He's a steak guy, I want shrimp. Yogurt Jungle is no exception. He wants fruit on his yogurt. FRUIT! I can eat fruit at home whenever. Give me something I don't get at home, you know, like Oreos. Too expensive. (Yes, I do realize the hypocrisy of being too cheap to buy Oreos, but not too cheap to go out for desert.)

So what you do is you fill a cup with as much frozen yogurt as you want, as many flavors as you want, and then head over to the toppings and throw on as many as you want. You pay by the ounce, and then you ask for a punch card, because the 10th one is free. Which helps when your family of six is ridiculously fond of the place.

Derrick always goes for the fruit stuff too. I don't get it. If it's not covered in caramel, it's not worth my time or the calories! We have one of the yogurt places opening here too. I'm thinking Skyler might need to get a job there. And he might need a ride to work. And since I"m down there anyways, I might need to grab me some yogurt. Covered in caramel, of course.

I'm totally with you. No fruit. Coconut yogurt with butterfingers is a personal favorite.

3 words: coconut, chocolate, pecans.

Something weird is going on with me because we went the other day and I actually got blueberries and only a couple of Swedish Fish. But that was because I couldn't think what would go well on top of peach yogurt.
