The day after the cultural celebration Blake and I were able to attend one of the three dedicatory sessions in the temple. Our bishop allocated the tickets he received to those who had spent so much time with the youth in the cultural celebration and those who had worked as either hosts during the tours of the temple or cleaning during the Open House. So Blake and I got to attend. It was a very spiritual feeling, knowing the prophet was in the temple with us. We weren't in the same room as he was, but the spirit was palpable. Blake had gone to an earlier dedicatory session with the Rafe, Conner and Claire so they could witness a dedication.
This experienced solidified it for me: this is my temple. I love this beautiful building more than I have loved any temple.
I love the man standing next to me a whole lot too.
