We Actually Made It

When I told our oldest we were going to attempt the museum again, he wearily asked, "Are you sure it's open?" I checked the website AND called just to be sure. Nonetheless, we still wouldn't have been surprised to get there and find it closed on President's Day. We were in luck. Instead our surprise was how fast it takes to get there without traffic delays and wrong turns.
We saw the dinosaurs moving their heads and tails around. One exhibit showed four small carnivores taking down a bigger dinosaur: complete with torn flesh, blood and eerie sound effects . There was an A&E video playing nearby which was hard to hear over the mournful wails of the dying dino. The dinosaur above had a better set-up: it merely turned it's head around and got offered imaginary food.
Even though they aren't real, it's always a good idea to protect yourself...just in case.
Padawan zoned in on some learning game. I thought the point of going to the musuem was to spend time away from video games?
Dutch Baby was much happier this go-around. We went in the morning so she was fresh and happy and not poopy, and her sippy cup was better looked after.

Maybe we can handle family outings after all.

Jenna you'll have to tell me where it's at and the correct directions from Maricopa. ha ha I think our kids would love going! (That sounds like lots more fun then helping some crazy family move!) :o)

Note that the Tyrannosaurus Rex looks like it is about to eat me. Thats what my mom meant.

I'm glad the adventure worked out this time!

Looks like fun! On the second picture down, I can't tell...is Conner standing back further, or is Claire now taller than her big bro? Kelli

Blake, your comment about protecting yourself made me laugh my head off. I love how humorous you and Jenn can be! I'm glad you had a great experience this time. (Gotta love those poopys when traveling)

Hey Suz! I'm the one that said that comment, don't give Blake credit for that. He already thinks he's funnier than me as it is.

No, Kelli, I noticed that too, they are actually about the same height but Claire is wearing some tall sandals.

I have to admit that I thought the comment about protecting yourself was totally a Blake comment. I had to double-check who wrote the post.

I'm so bitter: Why does everyone assume the funny stuff is from Blake?

Blake actually told me no one would understand that caption about protecting yourself.

I had to read and re-read to actually get the "protect yourself" comment. HA HA HA In that case, do you want Blake to have the credit? hahahaha

Jenna, you are funny! The comment just seemed Blake-ish. Are you just egging on this blogersation so you can get more comments?

Jenn I think you forgot to notice how I said, and I quote, "I love how humorous you and Jenn can be". I'll be expecting an apology shortly.

Yeah I probably just assumed Blake would make such a comment. ha ha ha ha ha ha
