I'm Enchanted

I got the Disney movie Enchanted for Claire for her birthday...or was it for me? I asked her if she likes it but and she said, "Kind of. But it's a little too romantic. Too much kissing." I watched it yesterday without my kids. It was the third time I'd seen it but I still cried at the end, when Giselle and her true love and his daughter are dancing around their apartment, twirling and being all family-like. (That little girl finally has a mother to love her *sniff sniff*!) What a great story! I have found that when I watch movies more than once I become friends with the characters and tend to become more emotional the more I see the movie. Is this weird?
Take Babe, for instance. Everytime Farmer Hoggett closes that gate in super-slow-motion and the awestruck crowd jumps to their feet cheering, I cry right along with The Boss. That will do, pig, I sob to myself. That will do.

I love movies! I think I have listened to "That's How You Know" like 100 times a day. Okay, not really but c'mon, is there a more perfect real life princess?

Jenna...here's a comment. phew, that's done and over with. Now I've done it.

yeah, thats a good song Monica. David will sing that while the movie is playing and go into a fun falsetto to imitate Giselle. too cute.

I cried at the end of Enchanted and thought to myself "Why?" I never cried watching movies until I had kids. Hormones.

I loved it too. I like to sing along! Another recent cryer for me is 'dan, in real life'. Have you seen it? If not, it's worth the drive to redbox right now! kelli
