A step-by-step Guide to Opening Presents from Grandma

Step 1: Penetrating through the packaging tape will require the use of scissors. It will be impossible to find an opening for tearing with fingers. Don't waste your time trying.

Step 2: Now that you have successfully removed the outer brown packing, proceed to the next layer: the colorful wrapping paper. This generally doesn't require scissors but will assuredly be well-taped.

Step 3: With the wrapping paper removed, you will now be holding the box containing the birthday presents. In this case, 2 boxes which were cut up and made to become one box. (Very resourceful!) This will also require the use of scissors. But don't give up now! This is the last step in opening your birthday present.

A helpful reminder: there will be lots of WalMart bags used as filler: there is a gift in there. Keep looking!

Step 4: Exclaim in delight! Your patience in this matter will be well-rewarded.

Nice farmer's tan, Holland.

OK - I don't feel so bad having Cadie run around in her diaper. Looks like another great wrapping job from Dad.

This wrapping job is from the Scoresby side or from the Shirley side?

I just noticed that not only is Holland only in her diaper, but Rafe is also only in his inside-out green underwear on the left of the last two pictures! Ha Ha! We are so WT!

...and her little helpers stand by ready to lend a hand at any moment. By the way, don't you ever dress your kids??? Let me guess, you're sitting on the couch behind the camera (thank goodness) in your skivvies?! kelli

It was Sunday morning. Why dress them twice? I'm a minimalist.
