Ipod, Youpod

I found these two sharing the Ipod when they should have been getting ready to head to school. They listened to it together while they walked down the stairs, put on their socks, and stuffed their backpacks. These two have always been close friends. Mom tells me that Jeff and I were just this close at this age, but I can't seem to remember past the teenage fights of who's turn it was to pay for gas, what radio station to listen to (Jeff never did respect my country music phase), and whose turn it was to drive. It's sad to think these two are on their way to similar fights, but for now at least they are best friends. Friday Blake overheard them giving each other advice about girl/boyfriend issues. They are definitely headed toward those teenage years too fast!
*For the record, Jeff and I are good friends again. I was going to add "now that we've matured" but that's not entirely accurate for one of us...

What kind of music does a 8 and 10 year old listen to anyway? I think you should post the boyfriend/girlfriend advice. I could probably use it.

Very cute! And I like Conner's hair! HA HA HA

Yes, they grow up fast. Before you know it, Conner will featured in a Vanity Fair issue with his shirt off.

Yes, Kelli, I can be a country girl. I even went to a Blackhawk concert in Jerome, Idaho and love it. But then again, that was the same year I went to Depeche Mode.

Jeff didn't have to talk for himself for the first two years of his life. "How are you, Jeff." To which Jenna would say, "Oh, he's fine, but he needs to be changed." Or, something like that.

never had the chance. All I remember at that age was everyone seeing how far they could throw me across the room onto the couch.
