Dear Autumn,

Where are you Autumn, my fair-weather friend? When are you coming? Summer is still here, can you believe it? Been here since early May. Way over-staying her welcome. Thinks she's so hot all the time. Never lets the kids go outside. Can't she see nobody wants her around anymore?

It's been ages since we've seen you. We miss you and think you are really cool. When you come we can go to the park again and take bike rides too, or maybe go on walks in the evening, like we did last time you were here. The kids need you. I need you. You are welcome anytime and we want you to stay as long as you can.
Love,
Cooped up in 'Copa

Amen sister! My boys rode their bikes for about 5 minutes last night and came in dripping with sweat.

We are just starting to catch a glimpse of cooler climates here, sooooo....hang in there my friend! I wish there were a perfect place to live. Fall should last 6 months, winter 2 weeks(the week before christmas and the week after), spring 3 months, and summer the rest of the time. It sounds like I live in the WRONG place! kelli

Serious gamers are indifferent to the changing seasons or temperate climates. I saw too many pasty white thighs and upper arms at the GenCOn convention in downtown Indy for that not to be true.

At least they are probably learning ambidexterity, which hopefully will be beneficial when they are writing in school and when one thumb hurts too bad, they can switch off.

The kids don't look like they're complaining...

We were in Rexburg last weekend and it was darn right chilly as the sun dropped below the R mountain.
