Getting High

It's a little embarrassing to admit but before Tuesday we still had dial-up at our house. Now we have finally gone hyper-speed and life is sweet. For the first time we can actually watch youtube videos from our very own home!

I'm so out of that loop. Conner told me to check out the "Charlie bit me" video which cracked me up- I also heard some of my Young Women quoting it. (How do these things get 10 million views?) Ceely had me watch the inspirational lion reunion (search Christian the Lion Reunion) and then I was out of ideas. Tell me your favorite youtube blips so I can be down with basic pop culture.

p.s. We've already seen the Harry Potter Puppet Pals Mysterious Ticking Noise at Grandma's house. We can't queue that one again- Rafe and Claire chanted it for weeks.

If only everything were high speed. I'm quite taken with the idea. Like my oven. Or my washing machine and dryer. This morning Rafe had to wait 1/2 hour post-tub before a clean pair of underwear was dry. Until technology advances that direction I will just have to do laundry more often I guess. Or buy more underwear.

So what youtube videos must I see?

I saw a commercial for an 18 minute wash cycle and an 18 minute dry. Crazy. I am excited to check out the "Charlie" video. And congrats on the upgrade.

Most people I know have watched the 'charlie' movie at least a thousand times each...so I guess it pretty easily adds up to 10 mil.

Welcome to the world of high speed. For me, it just means that I spend twice as long on the internet, and get to see 10 times as much.

Rafe needs more than one pair of underwear.

You have to watch the History Channel's "Jurassic Fight Club." To access the full episodes, type "nanno-tyrannous vs. T-Rex" or "short-nose bear vs. lion."

A family favorite of ours is the site willitblend.com. I think I need that blender.

It's very entertaining to watch this man blend a million different things in his blender. Recently he blended an iphone! Matthew's favorite is the glow sticks. Oh and I just checked out that blender, wow, I'm pretty sure that I could have a new couch for the price of one of those! haha! Have fun.
