Hottie House-Frau

Tips to Surviving Housework in 104 Degree Temperatures:

1. Start early before it's just too hot. Finish your chores before 10 a.m. If you're not done by then wait until tomorrow. How much spawning can the pink toiletbowl mold actually do in 24-hours?

2. Turn on all the fans. Carry a box fan from room to room with you as you work. And turn the thermostat way down. Whatever the extra A/C will cost is justifiable by the fact that you aren't paying a housekeeper, so tell your spouse to lay off.

3. Lose the shirt. But don't forget to put it back on before you answer the door or take out the garbage.

4. Drink lots of fluids. Water is best, but Dr. Pepper makes you happier with your job. I highly recommend the 32-oz at QT with a splash of cherry.

5. Just put the vacuum and mop in storage until fall.

I heard that people in Arizona mow their lawns sans shirt...except for you. Way to keep it inside.

That's what I'm doing wrong, not getting things done before 10 am! I hate to turn up the A/C it's so expensive.

Don't you just love it when the hub gets after you for the ac? Seeing how they sit in a 68 degree office all day. Poor guys.
