too good but yes, it's true.

On a day that most of the country was complaining about frigid weather, I got to take my kids to the zoo. Perfect weather. That perfect perfect where it's slightly chilly in the shade and just the right kind of warm on your face in the sunlight.

Not to rub it in or anything.

The Stingray Bay, carousel, and train ride kept us busy. But the kids weren't sure which type of animal was more fun.





It doesn't really matter. We spent ample time with both. And the weather was just right- oh, did I mention that already?


p.s. The 3T shorts young Padawan is sporting, and has sported for three years, will "disappear" during the next laundry cycle.
