With Holland there was no epidural. I will tell you this much: I didn't smile like this when that was over. Mmmm, epidurals are good friends.
It took all night, just waiting. Blake snored in the recliner next to me, but if you ask him, he will say he didn't sleep all night. A lady screamed and yelled in the delivery room next to me for several hours. She should have had an epidural.
Shortly after my doctor broke my water and then went to lunch, as did my nurse, it was definitely time to push. So everyone left their sandwiches half-eaten to make it back in time for three big pushes. And then Jovie was here!
And oh she is a love.
