Good Advice

This reminded me of the book "Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten." (But in this case, second grade). I found it among the piles of paper that comes out of Claire's backpack every morning. If we all followed this advice we would be set for life.
This is the cover, and here is the list of Do's and Don'ts listed inside (the separate lists aren't labeled, but it's fairly obvious which is which):

1. Play with each other
2. Help each other out
3. Always care for them
4. Do stuff together
5. Having sleepovers.

1. Punch each other
2. Hurting each other's feelings
3. Calling them names
4. Never have food fights.
5. Don't pull on their shirts.

1. Never spill cool-aid on their shirts.
2. Always care for them.
3. Listen to them. Never ignore.
4. Always do fun things.

Very wise. By the way, you are a great friend to me. You've never even punched me out or pulled on my shirt! Thanks for being my friend Jenna! kelli

Claire is so sweet! She must have tons of friends!

And by the way, I'm a good way through Lonesome Dove now. Of course it's never taken me this long to read a book, but it's coming along. I do like the different character plots.

Shirts are obviously a very important part to maintain in a friendship. All this time I was thinking it was the shoes but I think Claire has it right.

I hate when Sara pulls on my shirt, let alone spill on me with her Kool-Aid! Wise words CLAIRE
