What Arizona Children Do in the Summer

Electronics of course. It's shameful how many of my posts have to do with video games.

Ride bikes in the garage. It's too hot to ride in the street. Good thing the van is usually in the shop so there's a lot of room to ride around in there.

Take swim lessons. If you're not in the water, you're inside. Here's young Padawan doing "tiger arms" but it's a little bit more like Jazzercise.

The above picture looks like they are doing synchronized swimming lessons which they're not, but that would be cool.

Aaahhh...memories. You mean I shouldn't complain about the high of 50 today? Why isn't there ever a happy medium? Rafe is just keeping that upper body in shape...for more video games! Wii can be pretty intense you know. kelli

I'm glad you post about electronics. It's not shameful--it lets me know we are normal!!

How is the garage any cooler than outside? Our garage gets way hotter than outside.

No direct sunlight

and I left the door to the house open. You think these things through, Anna, in desperate times.

I feel the pain of that, we got back from Utah where my kids played outside all day and after just one day at home they were all soooo bored! Summers here are so hard, to keep the kids happy and active!!
